(1/16) Mrs. Owen’s class sharpens their reading comprehension skills while having fun with engaging board games!

(1/14) Ms. Shield's class had a hot chocolate bar for students who scored proficient on the December benchmark! YUM!!

We hope each of you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Students will return on January 7th.

(1/8) Ms. Luther's class is doing a short lesson on the impact Elvis had on local, state, and world-wide culture in honor of today being his 90th birthday. Students also completed a writing assignment.

(1/7) Mrs. Kirk's third grade math students began their unit on fractions. Mrs. Kirk read the book, "Fraction Fun" by David A Adler. Afterwards, the class discussed numerators, denominators, and unit fractions. They also completed an art project by dividing paper plates into 1/2s, 1/4s, and 1/8s.

(12/13) DTC would like to thank Maher's Toughfit for their generous donation to our school to help kids in need. We were already able to purchase items for kids for Christmas!

(1/6) Teachers at DTC attended Co-Teaching Training with Mrs. Starr Brown today to begin second semester. We can't wait to see all our kiddos tomorrow!!

(12/2) Before Thanksgiving, Spelling Bees were held in each classroom. The top two spellers in each class competed this morning in our School Spelling Bee. We are so proud of everyone!!
