Creating Clocks (2/28) Mrs. L. Collums' class made clocks out of paper plates. This hands on activity allowed students to put to use what they have learned the past week about reading a clock. They will be able to use these in class when needed.

The History of Mardi Gras (2/27) Last week, Mrs. McNeal's students had a Mardi Gras day where they read about the history of Mardi Gras, and did fun Mardi Gras themed centers.
Musical Experiences (2/25) Mrs. Brown’s 4th grade music students enjoyed the unique “Camp DTC” experience of playing on the grand piano and electric drums here on our campus!
Camping Safety Informative Text (2/25) Mrs. Hodum's class read informative texts about camping safety. As a class, they came up with ways they could practice safe camping, and then they completed a scavenger hunt to decide which campers from different scenarios were practicing safe camping skills.

Discovering Mississippi (2/25) Our 4th grade music classes presented such a fun showcase about our great state of Mississippi! The students sang songs of the Mississippi River, Mississippi Mud, the Blues, and Elvis was even seen in the building!
