(10/2) Homecoming Day 4: Class Warpath Thursday!
Today our halls were full of color as grades battled it out in a fun color war—3rd graders rocked blue & green, 4th graders shined in yellow & orange, and our staff showed off in pink & red!
Tomorrow, let’s come together as one and deck out in black & gold to show our Warrior Spirit! 🖤💛

(10/1) Homecoming Day 3: 100 Years of Football! 🏈
DTC was FULL of wisdom today—grannies with walkers, grandpas with canes, and plenty of gray hair to go around! 👵👴 Our students and staff had a blast showing their “lasting school spirit.”

(9/30) Homecoming Day 2: Dynamic Duos!
What a fun day seeing so many creative pairs and costumes around the school—students and staff really brought their A-game! From famous friends to matching outfits, everywhere you looked there were awesome duos.
Tomorrow we’re throwing it way back for Way Back Wednesday as we celebrate 100 years of football! 🏈🎉 Students can dress up as grandma or grandpa to show their lasting school spirit! 👵👴

(9/30) In PE, students participated in an exciting game called In and Out, where they could choose to walk or run 3 laps to earn stackable cups. Each cup added to their team’s tower, challenging students not only physically but also strategically, as they worked together to build the tallest structure possible. The team with the tallest tower at the end was crowned the winner! It was a great mix of fitness, fun, and teamwork!

(9/29) 🦈 Our 3rd graders have been diving deep into science with an exciting unit on sharks! Students in Mrs. Hodum’s and Mrs. Andrews’ classes explored fascinating shark facts, learned about their habitats, and wrapped up their learning by creating their very own shark booklets. We’re so proud of their hard work and creativity—these young scientists really made a splash! 🌊✨

(9/29) ✨ Homecoming Day 1: Be Our Guest! ✨
Our staff and students filled the halls with Disney magic today, dressing up as their favorite characters. Everywhere you looked, a famous face came to life!

We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings—get ready for Dynamic Duo Day! Grab a friend and dress as your favorite famous pair.

(9/22) One of the greatest moments in the classroom is experiencing something new for the first time. Check out the expressions of Mrs. Brown’s music students as they heard a bird whistle instrument!

Students and teachers showed off their black and gold to celebrate our school spirit! 🖤💛 We've had the BEST WEEK EVER!!
A huge thank you to all of the community members who visited classrooms to read, and to everyone who pledged support for our students.

(9/19) Today, Mrs. Hodum's students worked with partners to answer a worksheet about popcorn, and pointed out all the different text features within the passage. They celebrated with a popcorn snack!
