Discovering Mississippi (2/25) Our 4th grade music classes presented such a fun showcase about our great state of Mississippi! The students sang songs of the Mississippi River, Mississippi Mud, the Blues, and Elvis was even seen in the building!

Character Traits (2/14) Mrs. Hodum's class reviewed character traits this week. Today, they practiced by writing Acrostic Poem Valentines about some of their favorite people.
Scholastic Book Fair Grand Event! (2/20) Make plans to join us for our "Grand" Event at the Scholastic Book Fair! This will be held on Tuesday, February 25th from 8:30-11:00 (come and go) at West Heights Gym. Grandparents (or any adult) come out and shop with your grandchild! We can't wait to see you!!

Applying Music to Real Life (2/14) Music showcases aren’t just singing songs but also about applying what we sing to real life! 3rd grade music students will be performing a musical about going to camp on Monday, March 3, so they had the opportunity to see demonstration videos and practice kayaking techniques.
