(11/29) Congratulations to our D.T. Cox Spelling Bee winner, Daniah Cruise! We would also like to congratulate our runner up, Huck Haney! All of our participants did an outstanding job today!

(11/29) Congratulations to the following students for advancing to the DTC Spelling Bee! We are so proud of you!

(11/17) Mrs. Brown’s 4th grade music classes constructed a Thanksgiving foods rhythm plate. They matched their favorite foods to the specific rhythm that went with the word. They enjoyed the nice weather bring outside to draw their food rhythms with chalk outdoors.

(11/17) Students who sold one full page of fundraiser tickets were treated with popcorn and a movie!

(11/17) Mrs. Hodum's students practiced narrative writing by writing their own Thanksgiving stories.

(11/17) Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals this week. Keep up the good work!

(11/16) Given a budget of $25 and a list of items with prices, Mrs. Kirk and Ms. Luther's students had to come up with a Thanksgiving dinner. They were very creative! They had to buy at least 6 items for their dinner, but NOT go over their budget.

(11/17) The PTO Gift Basket Fundraiser was a huge success! Congratulations to the following winners: David Hernandez, Michelle Curtis, and Jamie Fleming. Thank you so much to everyone who donated items or bought chances! We appreciate you!

(11/16) Mrs. L. Collums' math students had to use their brain, and work together to solve the Thanksgiving code! Students first had to figure out what two numbers would add up to give them their answer. Then, they used those numbers to plug into an equation and solve. Students said they had fun, but it teased their brains!

(11/13) D.T. Cox held it's annual Most Beautiful/Most Handsome pageant over the weekend. All of our students who entered did an awesome job! Congratulations to the following winners:
