(4/11) Mrs. Chrestman’s students were rewarded with Sonic slushies and extra recess after working hard on their LAS Links English Proficiency tests. These students put forth their very best effort, and we are so proud of them!!

(4/11) Fourth grade math classes created paper airplanes using math skills they've learned throughout the year. After flying their plane, they measured the distance and converted those measurements. The students had a great time with this hands on review lesson! Click the link for more photos!

(4/8) Third grade math teachers put their students to the test with a game of Multiplication Wars! The classes competed against each other in two rounds. Mrs. Marquis' students were the Champions!

(4/8) Mrs. Vineyard's fourth grade UFO students spent some time this week completing MakerSpace task cards. MakerSpace gives students a chance to create, problem solve, and develop mental rigor. They had a wonderful time!

(4/6) Fourth Grade ELA teachers planned a fun, beached themed reading day for their students. This gave the students a break from normal classwork, while spending time reading books. Students were allowed to bring beach towels, snacks and their favorite book. Some of the teachers set the atmosphere by projecting the beach on their boards and playing ocean sounds, while others took their beach party outside. The students had a wonderful time!

(4/5) Mrs. Heatherly's math students have mastered the fraction standards! As a review, students were able to create games about fractions for their classmates to play. The students had a great time participating in this activity!

(4/1) Mrs. Rowland's class played a game of scoot to remediate context clues. Games are a great way to make learning fun!
