Soaking up the Sun (5/10) After state testing, students took a break in the sunshine! These girls learned how to make clover flower necklaces on a beautiful May afternoon!
Nacho Average Teachers! (5/6) D.T. Cox teachers were treated to a nacho bar in honor of teacher appreciation week. Thanks to PTO and all the parents who send goodies this week!
Kick Ball (5/4) In P.E., students were taught the concept of kick ball. They learned to kick, run, and get players out. This activity is good for muscle development, hand-eye coordination and overall fitness.
Sound Production (5/4) Mrs. Brown’s 3rd grade music classes have been studying sound production. They had fun using balloons to replicate our lungs and vocal cords!

STEM and the Zoo (4/26) STEM students spent time researching zoos and animals.Previously, they watched a short video about STEM and zoos. Each student created an animal before researching the zoo.
Alphabet Review (4/26) Ms. Holliday's students spent time reviewing letter names and sounds this week.
Multiplication Showdown! (4/26) Each week the third grade math classes go head to head in a Multiplication Showdown. This week, Mrs. L. Collums students were the winners!
