(4/13) D. T. Cox students will attend Hairspray presented by PHS on Thursday, April 27th. The cost is $3.00. Please begin sending money to your child's homeroom teacher.

(4/13) Mrs. Chrestman’s students were rewarded for their hard work on the LAS Links (English proficiency) test with Sonic slushies, chips, and extra recess. They enjoyed the pretty weather and fun treats.

(4/13) Mrs. Heatherly's 4th grade math students reviewed geometry this week. Students who showed mastery were able to use geometry to make origami animals and crafts!

(4/6) D.T. Cox PTO surprised teachers with the cutest little spring gifts of flower seeds and gardening gloves as well as delicious cookies! Thank you so much!!!

(4/6) Mrs. Chrestman’s third and fourth grade students completed an Easter Egg Vocabulary Hunt. They found eggs containing definitions/sentences and wrote the matching words. Some eggs contained a special surprise!

(4/6) Students in Mrs. Ball's Digital Citizenship class have been working hard to increase their typing speed. They have learned the word metamorphosis. All students decorated a caterpillar that is used to track their speed. Once a student is able to type more than 20 wpm, the caterpillar will transform into a butterfly. (4th grade is pink and 3rd grade is blue)

(4/5) Students in Mrs. Heatherly's Math class who showed mastery on certain skills were able to show what they know by creating board games and slide show games that covered those standards.

(4/5) Students in Mrs. Burrell’s math class applied problem solving and division skills to put together Easter egg puzzles.

(3/31) DTC teachers enjoyed pizza, salad and dessert today as a special treat to show appreciation for all they do on a daily basis! A special shout out goes to Mr. Mitchell at Domino's Pizza in Pontotoc for donating the delicious pizzas today!
