(1/30) Our school counselor, Ms. Kinnard, shared a classroom guidance lesson on friendship and recess. The students really have a great time when she visits!

(1/25) Ms. Luther's students put their knowledge of fractions to the test by constructing fraction snowmen.

(1/24) Mrs. Brown’s 4th grade music classes are now studying how to read music in preparation for learning how to play the piano! Students used their iPads to practice naming and placing notes on a music staff and piano keyboard. Within the next few weeks, these students will apply these skills to learn to play songs on a piano!

(1/20) Nurse Chrestman spent some time visiting classrooms this week to discuss dental hygiene. We would like to thank Jeffus Family Dental, Craig Chrestman and Aetna Insurance for donating toothbrushes to every student! (Click the link for more photos)

On Tuesday, January 31st, DTC will take classroom pictures as well as make-up pictures for the yearbook. Remember to dress your best and bring your smile!

(1/17) Mrs. Mutch's students are creating their own zoos. They were given a budget to purchase animals and then designed the enclosures. We are now making dioramas of the zoos. This project will continue with other task that will give the students practice with skills like; elapsed time, geometry, fractions, adding and subtract money, data and graphing.
