(2/21) After a study of fractions, Mrs. L. Collums third grade math students partnered up to complete a Fraction Escape room. They used math manipulatives to help them navigate through the Higher Order Thinking questions.

(2/16) Mrs. Mutch's class planned and budgeted for their own taco truck. They had a budget of $1,000.00 to buy their truck and the supplies they would need. Once they had their supplies they had to create their menus, and then decide on a price to sell their products. Once that was done they set out and took people's orders. (2/17) Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals! Keep up the good work!

(2/13) Ms. Short asked her students to guess how many Valentine M&M's were in a jar and Bella P. won! The correct answer was 850 and she guessed 800!

(2/13) DT Cox 3rd graders celebrated Arbor Day with an assembly hosted by Mr. James Shannon from MSU Extension Services. Mr. Shannon taught the students fun tree facts and shared how to successfully grow Loblolly Pines. The students were excited to take home their own trees to plant!
