(12/14) Mrs. Brown’s 4th grade music classes recently wrote their own rap song. Students used a template for words and added rhyming words of their choice for a classic rap style. Lastly, students chose their own background beats to their words. Many students were eager to perform their raps for their classmates and the student audiences were often wowed by the raps created by their peers!

(12/15) Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals this week! Keep up the good work!

(12/12) Mrs. Chrestman’s students have been studying the solar system. Students researched a planet, then created a poster and presented their information to the class.

(12/8) Students who had perfect attendance for October AND November were treated to a pizza party! Great Job!!

(12/8) Mrs. Hodum's third graders worked in groups to compare and contrast story elements such as characters, setting, problem/solution and theme from two literature stories written by the same author. Then, we completed a graphic organizer as a class to visualize the comparisons.

(12/19) Activity teachers will host an "Activity Showcase" on Tuesday, December 19th from 6:00-7:00pm. This is a come and go event where students can show their families what they've learned in their Activity classes this 9 weeks!

(12/6) Third grade music students will present "The Season of Bells" on Tuesday, December 19th at 6:00pm. We hope you can join us!!

(12/6) Fourth grade music students will present "Jingle Bell Jukebox" on Monday, December 18th at 6:00pm. We hope you can join us!!

(12/5) A special thank you goes out to Maher's Tough Fit for donating money to PES and D.T. Cox! The money will go towards students' needs. We appreciate you so much!!
