(4/30) English Learners and their families are invited to our annual potluck meal on Thursday night. Please see the flyer for details!

(4/30) To prepare for the state writing test, Mrs. Hodum's students read a prompt and made a checklist of what should be included in each response. Then, they read different responses to prompts and revised them with a partner.

(4/25) Thursday’s Warrior Club members enjoyed practicing their public speaking by sharing and discussing items of interest to the group. Today’s features included a deer rack, a rock collection, an autographed baseball, a baseball card collection and a special necklace.

(4/25) Beta students helped keep D.T. Cox in tip top shape by picking up trash during recess this week.

(4/25) Warrior Club members have been enjoying practicing public speaking skills through show and tell during club meetings. Wednesday’s members shared a dinosaur track imprint, an autographed baseball, origami art, an ancient shark tooth, and an impromptu guitar demonstration.

(4/23) The Songs of Summer Showcase was presented with flair! The students worked hard to prepare a show full of facts, artwork and music about the sun, sharks, and summer fun at the beach. This showcase was in collaboration with Mrs. McNatt’s STEM class as they demonstrated the roller coaster projects they had created! Everyone left Walkin' on Sunshine and with a smile on their faces!

(4/22) Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Third grade students researched facts about Earth Day. They will work on their presentation skills as they present their slideshows over the next few days!

(4/19) DTC girls had a great week at the PHS Lady Warrior Basketball Camp!

(4/18) State testing is in full swing at DTC. Mrs. Hodum shared a sweet little message with her third grade ELA students before they tested.
