(4/2) Mrs. Chrestman’s third and fourth grade students participated in an egg and spoon relay race. Students completed several challenges while reviewing their vocabulary words.

(3/28) Ms. Burrell promised her students that they could pie her in the face if they met their goal on their final math benchmark. Today, she kept her promise!

(3/28) The Beta Club had a very successful March community service project. They collected over 100 items to donate to the Children's Mansion. Thanks to all that helped out with this project.

(3/28) Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals this week! Keep up the good work!

(3/28) Mrs. Heatherly's fourth graders are reviewing skills each day. They take a pretest and if students master a particular skill, they get to show their knowledge of that skill by applying it in different ways. Some choose to create games or escape rooms. Students also are using Versatiles provided by a grant from Bright Ideas and NE Sparc to practice these standards.

(3/26) During PE, Ms. McNeal’s class was able to watch the archery team practice before leaving for North Half. Coach Walker explained what was going on and how each competitor has to listen for the whistle for instructions to begin shooting.

(3/26) Fourth grade math teachers rewarded their students who scored a 5 on the final benchmark with drinks, popcorn and a movie. They were able to enjoy this special treat with students from other classes that also scored a 5.

(3/26) Hayden C. in Mrs. Hall's class bought “teacher for the day” through his earned Class Dojo points. He ran a small group, reading “Wish” for their book unit and discussing what was happening in the book!
