(9/19) After learning about natural disasters this week in science, Mrs. Roe's class made mini volcanoes and informational brochures to end the week.

(9/19) Mrs. Andrews' classes enjoyed having visitors come and read for the Read-a-thon. She would like to thank all the amazing families who came! 📚💛 The students loved hearing stories from you, and it makes such a difference for them to see the joy of reading shared at home and at school. We’re so grateful for your time and support—it truly helps build a love of learning in the classroom community!

(9/19) Mrs. Tutor's class performed text feature "surgery" yesterday. The kids absolutely loved this assignment, and they all did so well. There may be many doctors and nurses in their futures!

(9/19) Mrs. Brown’s 4th grade music classes used some class time to participate in the Read-A-Thon. Because our students will be performing on Veterans Day this year, the class read books that featured our Armed Forces to gain more insight into the holiday. Students read, wrote and shared interesting facts that they learned!

(9/19) Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals this year! Keep up the good work!

(9/18) Mrs. Steele's classes have been learning about text features this week. As an extension to the lesson, students became Doctors/Surgeons that operated on patients that needed "text feature" help.

(9/18) 🐻📚 Another Great Day of Read-a-Thon Fun! 📚🐻
Students came dressed in their best camouflage, ready for our big "Bear Hunt!" Lots of bears were found, prizes were given, and excitement filled the halls!
We were also joined by many wonderful guest readers who made the day even more special. The kids had an absolute blast!

Let’s wrap up Read-a-Thon Week by wearing black and gold to show our Warrior Pride and celebrate a fantastic week of reading! Remember to turn in all of your book lists and donations in an envelope with your name on it!🖤💛

(9/17) 💛 Read-a-Thon Day 3: Kindness Day! 💛
Today, our students took on the challenge of completing 5 acts of kindness — ask your child what they did to spread a little joy!
Everyone looked amazing in tie-dye and shirts with kind quotes, and we loved welcoming our guest readers — thank you for making today extra special!
Tomorrow’s Theme: We’re going on a Bear Hunt! 🐻
