(3/4) DTC celebrated Read Across America and Dr. Seuss this week with many fun dress-up days! Click the link for more photos!

(3/2) Mrs. Brown’s 3rd grade music classes have been studying the science of sound! Students were given a balloon to replicate their vocal cords. When the balloon neck was pulled tight, this resulted in high pitches and when the balloon neck was looser, lower sounds occurred. The students were surprised at the strange sounds they were able to create with tension and release!

Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals this week! Each student was selected for showing characteristics of a true WARRIOR! Great Job!

(2/24) Hi. My name is Aubree, reporter of DT Cox Elementary, and I have some news for all of y'all!

The following students received positive office referrals this week! They were caught showing characteristics of a true Warrior! We are so proud of them!

(2/24) Mrs. Marquis' third graders recently had a special visitor in their classroom. Her mom, Ms. Nancy Wood, came and taught lessons on elapsed time using a matching time and clock game as well as a multiplication review game. Ms. Wood taught middle school math for 36 years! After retiring from the classroom, she is now a teacher coach! The kids absolutely adored her!

Spring Pictures previously scheduled for March 1st will be rescheduled. A new date will be posted soon.
