Battling Robots (12/8) Mrs. Holmes' 4th grade STEM students built, coded, and battled their Lego robots.
Building Machines (12/8) Mrs. Hilliard's 3rd grade gifted students experimented with many materials to build a Rube Goldberg machine. The students had to utilize their knowledge of simple machines to create an apparatus that had several chain reactions, and completed a simple task. Collaboration, creativity, and communication skills were very important to use during this activity!
Area and Perimeter Escape Room (12/8) Students in Mrs. L. Collums' class worked in groups to decode an escape room on area and perimeter.
Text Structure World Cup (12/8) Students in Mrs. Chrestmanâs class played Text Structure World Cup to review for their test. They had fun getting active while practicing what they learned.
Spreading Cheer! (12/8) DTC Teachers are spreading Christmas cheer by dressing in fun, holiday clothing!

All About Angles (12/2) Students in Mrs. Foster's class have been studying angles and measuring angles with protractors. They practiced what they learned by using the protractors to measure different angles created by taping different designs on a table.
Animal Cells (12/1) After studying animal cells, Ms. Clingan's class built them using jello as cytoplasm, fruit by the foot as the cell membrane, whoppers as the nucleus, twizzlers as mitochondria, & raisins as vacuoles!
