(8/21) Students and teachers at DTC were all decked out in their black and gold today for our first Football Friday of the season!!

(8/21) Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals this week! Keep up the good work!

(8/20) Mrs. Roe's students practiced main idea skills while playing inflatable dart ball. Students had a passage and main idea questions- for each question they got correct, they got a chance to throw. Students added up their total points to see which team won!

(8/20) Mrs. Griggs’ class had an extra-special visit connected to their weekly story, "Rare Treasure: The Story of Mary Anning and Her Remarkable Discoveries" by Don Brown! Students got to see a real dinosaur egg with bones inside thanks to a special visit from one of her classroom parents!

(8/18) Ms. Camron’s fourth graders became solar system experts! Students worked in small groups to choose a planet, research its unique features, and educate their classmates by sharing their findings.
By learning from one another, our students explored every planet in our solar system—and even Pluto!

(8/18) School Counselors Toya Kinnard (DTC) and Betsy Ritchie (PMS) attended a SAMS training at Central Access in Ridgeland, MS! They are always excited to learn, grow, and strengthen their skills so they can better support our students and school community.

(8/17) It's that time of year again!!! Football season begins this Friday, August 21st. PTO will be set up in the gym before the bell on game days painting faces! The cost will be $1.00.

(8/17) Friday, in Mrs. Tutor’s class, students enjoyed student led centers through various S. T. E. M. activities.
