(5/16) DTC students and teachers had a blast during field day today! Thanks to Mrs. Bishop for heading up all the fun games and activities for us, and to Mr. Varnon for grilling delicious hot dogs for lunch!!

(5/16) DTC girls had a great time at PHS' Mini Cheer Camp!

(5/16) Fourth Graders were celebrated yesterday as they are about to leave elementary school, and head to middle school. We are so proud of their accomplishments!

(5/15) As the school year winds down, Ms. Griffith's classes have been buzzing with creativity! Students chose their favorite books and brought them to life through word searches, movie posters, board games, comic strips, and book-themed boxes. It’s been a joy watching their imaginations shine as they shared stories in such unique and meaningful ways!

(5/14) Mrs. Kirk's students read the book Memory Jars by Vera Brosgol. Afterwards, they made 3rd grade memory jars. They talked about change being a good thing, learning something new everyday-striving to be better AND taking memories with you.

(5/12) Given index cards, Mrs. Kirk's students made flash cards by cutting the sides and putting a factor in the middle. When they flip the side it gives the product. The other side is division.

(5/9) Reminder of several important dates coming up as we finish out the school year!

(5/16) Congratulations to the following students for receiving positive office referrals this week. Keep up the good work!

(5/12) Please join our fourth graders for a final walk down the halls of D.T. Cox Elementary. Parents may begin lining the hallway at 9:50.
