(2/14) D.T. Cox third grade music students will present their musical "Life's a Garden" on Monday, February 26th at 6:00pm. This is a free event and all friends and family are invited to attend.

(2/13) The Scholastic Book Fair will be at D.T. Cox February 26-March 1. Our family night will be held on Monday, February 26th from 4:00-6:00pm. Please make plans to attend! We will have a "Super" fun time!

(2/12) D.T. Cox would like to congratulate our school counselor, Ms. LaToya Kinnard, for being chosen as Pontotoc City School District's Counselor of the Year! Ms. Kinnard also received an award for being named a National Board Certified Teacher. We are so blessed to have her as a part of our team!

(2/12) D.T. Cox held their Junior Beta Club Induction this morning. Congratulations to these students! We are super proud of their accomplishments!

(2/12) Mrs. Brown’s 3rd music classes are bringing music to life! As they prepare for their upcoming musical “Life’s a Garden,” the students had the opportunity to plant their own seeds and will be able to observe the growth process! They are also working hard on prop production for this special night!

(2/12) Third graders at D.T. Cox attended an Arbor Day assembly on Friday. Special thanks to Mr. James Shannon from the MSU Extension office for an informative session on making our tree plantings a success!

(2/9) Ms. Luther's third grade math class collaborated with their peers to complete an equivalent fraction escape room. Students had fun while reviewing skills they've learned in class over the last few weeks!
