We hope each of you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Students will return on January 7th.

(12/13) DTC would like to thank Maher's Toughfit for their generous donation to our school to help kids in need. We were already able to purchase items for kids for Christmas!

(12/2) Before Thanksgiving, Spelling Bees were held in each classroom. The top two spellers in each class competed this morning in our School Spelling Bee. We are so proud of everyone!!

(11/22) We are so thankful for our students and staff at DTC! We hope you all have a safe and happy Thanksgiving break!

(5/21) The DTC Warrior Club enjoyed an end of the year field trip to the New Albany Heritage Museum. The boys had fun as they visited the various aspects of the museum and participated in playing “Mississippi Jeopardy.”

(5/20) DTC students celebrated reaching their 4th nine weeks AR goals with Pizza in the Park!

(5/20) Mrs. Chrestman and Mrs. Wilbanks’ third grade EL students enjoyed their field trip to the Union County Heritage Museum in New Albany. They participated in a scavenger hunt to learn facts about Mississippi, played a Jeopardy style game, and explored the garden. They also learned to write a Haiku poem after finding inspiration outdoors.

(5/16) DTC students and teachers had a blast during field day today! Thanks to Mrs. Bishop for heading up all the fun games and activities for us, and to Mr. Varnon for grilling delicious hot dogs for lunch!!

(5/16) DTC girls had a great time at PHS' Mini Cheer Camp!

(5/16) Fourth Graders were celebrated yesterday as they are about to leave elementary school, and head to middle school. We are so proud of their accomplishments!
