The following students received positive office referrals this week. We are super proud of them!

D.T. Cox will attend the play "The Lion King, Jr." on Wednesday, March 23rd at the PJHS auditorium. The cost is $2.00. Please send money to your child's homeroom teacher.

( 3/4) Mrs. Chrestman's third grade classes read Chocolate Fever and practiced various reading and writing strategies. They celebrated by having a “chocolate party,” where students made their own s’mores and enjoyed other chocolate treats.

(3/4) Ms. Holliday's students used real life objects to reinforce their letter recognition.

(3/2) Mrs. Brown’s 3rd grade music classes have been studying the science of sound! Students were given a balloon to replicate their vocal cords. When the balloon neck was pulled tight, this resulted in high pitches and when the balloon neck was looser, lower sounds occurred. The students were surprised at the strange sounds they were able to create with tension and release!
