(12/10) Ms. Lewis’ class is learning about the human body systems in science this week. In partners, they were assigned a system. They will create life-sized replicas by conducting research and making a large poster with diagrams of their system.

(12/10) Mrs. Bishop's PE class enjoyed climbing the rock walls this week. Rock wall climbing is a full body workout! It increases cardiovascular fitness, while also increasing muscle strength and endurance.

(12/10) Ms. Holliday's class had a great time making snow globe ornaments to decorate their tree!

Congratulations to D.T. Cox Elementary School's Teacher of the Year, Kathy Laughery. Mrs. Laughery strives daily to see that each student is successful. We are so lucky to have her as a part of our team! Congratulations!!

Congratulations to the following students for receiving Positive Office Referrals this week! We are so proud of you and your Warrior spirit!

(12/3)Mrs. Bishop introduced frisbee golf to the students this week during PE. The students started by practicing on a smaller target (bottle on a tee) and then moved to the bigger baskets. Students learned how to hold and throw a frisbee accurately into the basket. They have enjoyed frisbee golf.

(12/3) Our teachers are spreading holiday cheer by participating in dress up days!

(11/19) Fourth grade students practiced several computer processing skills this week. They typed Turkey acrostic poems. Students were able to change their font and worked to insert and resize a picture.
