EL Family Celebration & Graduation

(10/23) English Learners from D.T. Cox Elementary joined families and fellow students at the Pontotoc City EL Family Celebration on Tuesday evening at PES for a special night of recognition and fellowship. Families shared their favorite dishes from their native countries, and everyone enjoyed the delicious food.
Students who passed the English proficiency exam last spring were honored for their hard work and achievement in reaching English proficiency and graduating from the EL program. We are proud to celebrate the progress and accomplishments of our students!
Congratulations to D.T. Cox EL program graduates Tifany Lobo, Juan Solis, Daleyza del Angel, Natalia Lopez, Zefron Mesh, and Aylin Rivera Borrallas, and to our former fourth graders who graduated and are now at PMS. They are Diya Fadhal, Jacob Lopez, Mario Mendoza, Anny Garcia, Ashley Lopez, David Perez, and Aylin Lopez. We are so proud of you and look forward to seeing all you accomplish in the future!
