Introducing Peer Helpers Plus at DT Cox!

(9/9) We’re excited to begin a new program called Peer Helpers Plus. The program is focused on helping our students build character, make healthy choices, and develop important life skills. This week, Ms. Kinnard and her intern, Ms. Maggie, kicked things off with the first lesson, “My Go-To People.” Students learned how to identify trusted adults they can turn to, the importance of speaking up when something doesn’t feel safe, and the difference between tattling and reporting.
