Colonial Breakfast

(11/10) Third and Fourth grade gifted students have been learning all about George Washington. Last week they looked at science during colonial times and determined that making butter was a physical change! Students were able to gather information and experiment by making their own butter! Of course they had to taste test their experiment!! The next day, they brought cooking to the classroom and enjoyed George Washington's favorite breakfast, hoecakes with butter and honey!
