Fun in STEM!

(2/10) Ms. Spicer and Mrs. Heatherly’s classes have learned about building a bow and shooting it. They also learned about the legend behind Punxsutawney Phil and how he is cared for. Students were tasked with building the bow and arrow with the stipulation of it’s arrow(a partial q tip) flying at least five feet. The students also had to design a groundhog’s burrow. The students researched it and the only stipulations were that it had to have a separate entrance and exit and a nest. Finally, students are learning to read schematics to organize legos for robotics. Click the link for more pictures.
